Tregarth House is a welcoming and characterful Bed and Breakfast set in the historic town of St Austell, right in the heart of Cornwall. After taking a short pause, we—Steve and Hazel—are absolutely delighted to reopen the doors of our much-loved B&B for the 2025 season. We’ve missed the joy of hosting and can’t wait to welcome back familiar faces and greet new guests looking to experience the beauty of this special corner of the country.

Our home, Tregarth House, is a classic Cornish townhouse full of charm and personality. From the moment you arrive, we aim to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can truly feel at home. Whether you’re visiting Cornwall for its world-famous coastline, exploring the Eden Project just a short drive away, enjoying the local gardens and clay country walks, or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind, we offer a comfortable base and a personal touch that makes all the difference.

Each morning, guests can enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We’re proud to offer a traditional Cornish breakfast alongside lighter options to suit all tastes, served in our bright and cheerful dining room.

St Austell is perfectly located for discovering the best of Cornwall—from the nearby Charlestown Harbour and Lost Gardens of Heligan to the picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey and Fowey.
